NISE is best known for its all round support to the students. We always try our best to provide Students the State-of the Art facilities using which they can perform their best. We provide modern library, Lab with 12 x 7 Net facility & Faculty support.
LIBRARY
NISE Centres, store sufficient database of IT books for the ready reference of the students. By using them, the students can add more knowledge to their skills. To avail this facility, a student has to make a deposit of Rs. 500/- towards "library caution money", in the respective centre, which is refundable after successful completion of the course as well as with the clearance from the Centre Director & Library-in-Charge. The Caution Deposit should compulsorily be paid by Account Payee Cheque. Cash should not be paid under any circumstances. Money receipt should be obtained and preserved carefully, for obtaining refund.
A student is allowed to draw books for 7 days. (Inclusive of holiday) without any Charge.
If a student keeps the book in excess of 7 days then he/she has to pay a fine as per table given below.

If the cost of the book is more than the caution deposit, then the student will be required to pay the balance amount failing which, the student's marksheet & certificate may be withheld till the payment is received.
In case of loss of library card, a duplicate library card can be issued on written request subject to the approval of the Centre Director, and on payment of Rs. 50/- (fifty only). However, students are advised to be careful about their library card as they will be held responsible for any Book(s) issued against a Library Card /lost Library Card.
In case of Book loss or any damage, the student would be responsible for replacing the book or reimburse the cost of the book. The cost of the book as decided by the Centre Director is final.
EXTRA PRACTICALS :
To enhance the skill of the students as well as to get more on-line facility, extra practicals are provided to the student in free time / lean slots, at no extra cost. The students are advised to book their extra practicals in advance such that it does not clash with regular practical session. The details of the extra practicals can be obtained from the concerned lab In-charge or Centre Director.
PROJECTS :
Students are required to undertake a semester - end project which includes a viva voce. This project work reinforce the contents and concepts dealt within the semester. It is done under the guidance of a Faculty. Projects are evaluated on the basis of technical input, project demonstration, coding conventions, documentation and project report. On submission of project, the Semester gets completed
PRESENTATIONS :
After the end of each class (Theoritical Session) a Presentation Session is held. In this session
2-3 students of the batch (class) are asked to speak on any current I.T. Topic or on the subject being currently taught in the class. On a rotation basis, each student gets a chance to speak. This session not only helps the student to improve his/her vocabulary but also helps the student in overcoming shyness and helps in their overall personality development.
SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
Arrangements are made for student seminars and workshops at fixed intervals of time on Theme based issues of current interest in IT field. Experts and Senior executives from differentinst itutions and industrial establishments are invited to interact with students & share their practical experience in IT field. These activities not only increase the knowledge of students but also develop their leadership skills, team spirit, inter-personal skills etc.
PLACEMENT
Placement Division of NISEidentifies the industry needs and demands from time to time and gears up the budding professionals to meet the challenges of the ever-changing IT industry.
Students may use the services of the institute's placement orientation program. These services include counselling, job seeking, skill workshops which includes resume writing & interview handling, job search handbook, on & off campus recruiting. Students should contact the Placement Division at the Corporate Office as soon as they register for a course to receive information concerning job opportunities. NISE assists students to find the right job opportunities focusing on each individual's ability, area of interest and industry's requirement.
BREAK RULES
The students would be granted leave during College / University examination to enable them to do their Graduation / Post Graduation studies concurrently with a course at NISE.
(a) The student should submit an application pertaining to his/her break to the concerned Centre Director giving details of examination schedule and the date of re-joining.
(b) A leave will be considered as a break leave if it is for a minimum period of 4 weeks & maximum period of 8 weeks.
(c) If 75% of a batch is going on a break leave, then the entire batch would be suspended and resumed after 4/8 weeks.
(d) Students may be asked to take extra classes at time slots and days fixed by NISE at an accelerated pace. The classes may also be conducted on Sundays or Holidays to make up for the course delay. Batches may be merged for these extra classes.
(e) Students who wish to take longer breaks would be transferred to other batches, subject to availability of seats / batches.
(f) A fee of Rs. 250/- will be charged for breaks, of less than 8 weeks. One break will be allowed in one calendar year, only. Students remaining absent or on leave for more than 8 weeks will be considered dropouts. If they wish to continue, they have to re-register by paying a fee of Rs. 500/- only.
UPGRADE / DOWNGRADE
A student enrolled for a shorter duration course may upgrade his / her course as long as he / she is on the enrollment of NISE by paying an upgradation fee of Rs. 250/- alongwith the differential amount of the changed course. Similarly, a student can downgrade his/her course from higher module/semester to lower module/semester, The excess amount paid by the student is not refundable under any circumstances. In case of a downgrade, a fees of Rs. 500/- is payable by the student.
TRANSFER
1. (Inter-Batch)
a) A student is to complete the course in a batch in which he/she is admitted.
b) A student may transfer from one batch to another batch at the same centre for genuine reasons.
c) Transfers can be availed only after the end of a semester / module.
d) A Fee of Rs. 250/- is charged for Inter-Batch transfers.
e) The decision of the Centre Director is final on all matters of Inter-batch transfers
2. (Inter-Branch)
a) A fee of Rs. 500/- is charged for transfer from one NISEcentre to another NISEcentre.
b) The student seeking transfer from one NISECentre to another NISECentre should send an application to the Corporate /concerned Regional Office , alongwith the following documents and fees.
i. Applications mentioning all the details and reasons for transfer.
ii. No objection certificate obtained from the Centre Director where the student is originally enrolled.
iii. Copies of Money Receipts of all fees paid.
iv. Identity card
v. Transfer fees of Rs. 500/-
After receipt of the above documents and fees, the concerned Regional office / Corporate Office will process the application and issue fresh Identity Card with new centre code.
c) Inter-branch transfer is permissible only if the branch where transfer is sought, provides the course in which the student has been admitted.
d) Fees payable for the same course may differ from one branch to another branch. Therefore, if a student takes transfer to another branch, the excess fees (if any) is payable by the student at the destination branch.
3. In case of a student taking a transfer, NISEdoes not guarantee the same syllabus, time, days of the week of previous batch/branch.
4. Transfers are normally not applicable to programs of less than 6 months duration.

GREVANCE REDRESSAL & HELPLINE
1. In order to improve upon the quality of services provided to the students, NISE actively seeks, appreciates and acts upon feasible and practicable suggestions and feedback from students.
2. A student grievance redressal system exists at all NISERegional office / Corporate office / Head office.
3. Students can approach the Counsellor / Centre Director, with queries / grievances, for assistance, guidance and redressal. If the student is not satisfied, the student may contact the Regional Director of the State. If still unsatisfied, the student may seek redressal from the Director (Student Services) at Corporate office, by sending a written application mentioning the nature of grievance.
4. Students are encouraged to send feed back on course coverage and course materials in the format given at the end of each study material.
5. Parents / Guardian of students are a part of the larger NISEfamily. We therefore maintain a close interaction with them. Regular Parent-Faculty meetings are held at NISEcentres, to provide feed back on the student's performance. Parents can also meet the faculty members teaching their wards. Suggestions received from parents are implemented where found feasible and practicable.
